We would like to welcome the BlueMile Running store to its newest store location (their 2nd store in Louisville), which recently opened near the corner of Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway (in the old Fleet Feet store). Their first Louisville store opened earlier this year in the Summit Shopping Center.

BlueMile hosts a Run/Walk each Monday at our Louisville Highlands location location. The run begins at 6 p.m. from the store, and we usually head to Cherokee Park. All levels are welcome, and we often have guest speakers and special treats.   They also plan to offer Saturday morning group runs in the near future.  Stop in and welcome them to their new store location.

Race Update

Congratulations to all of our fellow runners who competed in, and completed the trail race at Otter Creek Park, on Saturday, December 17. It was a beautiful day, even with the temperatures in the high 20’s at the start.

Everyone had a great time, even though a few took a tumble or two; but that is what trail running is all about. Congratulations to all of our runners who started the year off right by participating in the Hangover Classic 10 Mile Race, starting at River Road and Zorn Avenue, at 10:00am on Sunday morning, January 1st.

For the 1st day of January it was a relatively warm (high 50’s) race start temperature. There were, however, very strong winds which made it feel considerably cooler.  Photos of some of our Merry Band of Runners can be seen on the Photo Gallery Page.
